Gigabit Ethernet Control Plane on VPX - The objectives of this standard are to assign Gigabit Ethernet Port mappings for the purpose of Control Plane communication onto the VPX connectors for both 3U and 6U form factors and to provide rules and recommendations for the interoperable implementation and use of said Gigabit Ethernet Port mappings.
