Locating, designing and operating buildings to combat the growing problems of air pollution and road congestion, is the subject of this publication from BRE. It provides guidance on the location, design and operation of buildings with a view to reducing air pollution, pressure on resources and traffic congestion. Included are a set of 18 case studies. Each describes initiatives which have successfully addressed the transport problem and actually reduced transport-related business and environmental impacts.
