Published biannually by the American Foundry Society, Metalcasting Forecast & Trends is a business intelligence report for foundries, industry suppliers, and others who must understand analysts' short- and long-term predictions for the future of the metalcasting industry. AFS 2022 Metalcasting Forecast & Trends, compiled in December 2021, includes extensive data sets which provide key insights and benchmarks to create a broad and in-depth diagnostic and understanding of any company in the industry. Core data is sourced from comprehensive business surveys from the Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and other government agencies.

This edition of the Forecast features anticipated revenue and growth benchmarks, and cost, capital, and profit benchmarks. The report includes snapshots of industry payroll, productivity, product line growth, and other data which can be used for benchmarking, budgeting, and business planning.
