Classification
The machines shall be of the following types, sizes and classes:
Types
Power Supply (Rectifier)/Oscillator (Inverter)
I - Vacuum Tube/Vacuum Tube (VT/VT)
II - Solid State/Vacuum Tube (SS/VT)
III - Soild State/Solid State (SS/SS)
with each type to be further identified as a combination system, (functions under one package) or separate system (functions under different and separated packages) for example:
SS/VT Separate.
Size
Size shall be rated in terms of effective KVA output (RMS) at 100% power settings (see section 4.3.3.1).
A. Less than 5 KVA
B. 5 KVA to 25 KVA
C. Greater than 25 KVA
Class
1. Portable - Equipment designed to be hand carried.
2. Mobile - Equipment mointed on a permanent base with wheels or casters for moving in the assembled configurations.
