This standard includes nomenclature, dimensional data, performance criteria, and some
interchangeable features for multi-use lighting poles. These poles shall be designed with clear separation per NEC/NESC requirements. The poles shall also have mounting provisions for antennas, radios, meters, disconnect switches, and any other equipment specified by the end-user.
The intent of this standard is to establish the mechanical and dimensional requirements for the poles, which can be produced from steel, aluminum, and concrete.
