X9.100-189-2019 defines requirements for a virtual stamp for U.S. Savings Bond that are eligible for electronic redemption. Paying agents with a signed agreement with the U.S. Treasury's Bureau of Fiscal Service, may use this virtual stamp in lieu of a physical stamp. This specification includes the content and proper placement of the virtual stamp only and does not supersede requirements for other information required on the back of savings bond items.
