Describes improved methods for estimating total evaporative losses or equivalent atmospheric hydrocarbon emissions from external, internal, and covered floating-roof tanks containing multicomponent hydrocarbon mixtures or single-component stocks. Chapter 19.2 consolidates previous API publications 2517 and 2519. This standard includes the following new information:
roof/deck fitting factors for internal and external floating roof tanks for wind speeds up to 15 mph, rim seal loss estimating equation, wind speed correction factor for external floating roof fittings, and a method for estimating emissions from domed floating roofs.
