Document Scope

This document is applicable for all levels of flight crew training, operating with respect to civilian or military procedures using either fixed- or rotary-wing aircraft or Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS).

At the time of publication, the content of this document more comprehensively covers SATCE features and technical requirements associated with civilian fixedwing flight crew training. It is expected that future versions will provide extended coverage of SATCE features that support both military, rotary-wing, and RPAS flight crew training.
