Applicability.
This regulation applies to the Active Army, the Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and the U.S. Army Reserve, unless otherwise stated. The proponent of this regulation may modify chapters and policy of this regulation during mobilization.
Purpose
This regulation contains Army policy for U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) training and retirement point credit. It also prescribes guidance for USAR unit level strength accounting.
