Purpose

This regulation prescribes the policies and responsibilities of command, which include the Army Ready and Resilient Campaign (R2C) Plan, military discipline and conduct, the Army Equal Opportunity (EO) Program, and the Army Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program (formerly the Army Sexual Assault Victim Program).

Applicability. This regulation applies to the Active Army, the Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and the U.S. Army Reserve, unless otherwise stated. During mobilization, the proponent may modify chapters and policies contained in this regulation provided that the modification is coordinated with and concurred in by the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army and that the modification itself is disseminated through the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army.
