Specifies requirements for wire cloth and perforated plate test sieves. Aperture sizes range from 16.0 mm to 22 micrometre in wire cloth and 125 mm to 4.00 mm in perforated plate, following an R40/3 preferred number series in each case. Tolerances on aperture sizes and details of acceptance criteria and methods of testing are given. Appendices set out information to be supplied by the purchaser and give details of other national Standards in which the basic requirements are similar to those of the Australian Standard.
