One hundred and thirteen types of filler metals are given in seven groups - carbon and intermediate alloy steels, high alloy steels, cast iron, copper and copper alloys, magnesium alloys, aluminium alloys, and nickel and nickel alloys. An appendix giving guides to the classification system, and the use of filler metals is included.
