Provides a central reference to all the Standards, which, together with this Standard, are collectively termed the 'SAA Boiler Code'. Definitions of the main types of boilers, pressure vessels and associated equipment are included but the specific requirements for particular types of such equipment are covered in the appropriate separate Standard as referenced. The relationship of the Code to the requirements of Statutory (Inspecting) Authorities is summarized, and a list of the Inspecting Authorities is given in an appendix. The Inspecting Authorities' table of boiler attendance categories is included 'For Information' in an appendix.
