This Standard also deals with dimensional coordination in the building industry, using metric units as the basis. It also identifies the key reference planes in a building and gives various series of practical coordinated dimensions between them based on the international module of 100 mm and certain selected multiples. An appendix gives discursive information which explains the basic principles and how these are applied in practice.
