Contains both Part 1 and Part 2 of AS 1273-1974. Part 1 applies to one class of square, rectangular or circular downpipe for external or internal use above ground, where the head of water will not exceed 15 m, supplied in lengths of 1.8, 2.4, 3.0 or 3.6 mm, and in one size for square section pipe, two sizes for rectangular pipe and six sizes for circular pipe. Part 2 covers the requirements for fittings, the design configuration and dimensions of which are to be agreed except in the case of adaptors for downpipes to stormwater pipes.
