This Standard prescribes a method for determining the mass proportion of papermaking fibres in a sample of paper by determining the numbers of fibres of different types in a subsample and then calculating the mass proportion of each from the known relative mass of each fibre type. Technically equivalent to ISO 9184-1:1990.
