Applies to pipes and fittings up to 300 mm nominal diameter, either sand cast or spun cast and intended to be used where the internal working pressure is negligible. Requirements are specified for materials, manufacture, jointing, testing, marking and coating and lining. Dimensions of sockets for caulked and bolted type joints are also included. An appendix illustrates preferred designs of pipe fittings.
