Specifies materials and dimensional tolerances and prescribes chemical analysis and mechanical properties for continuous welded (CW), electric-resistance or induction welded (ERW), cold-drawn electric-resistance or induction welded (CEW) and submerged-arc welded (SAW) steel tubes intended for pressure purposes. Provision is made for specifying both elevated and low temperature properties for certain of the listed grades. Includes separate tabulation of as-welded grades and tolerances for ERW boiler and superheater tubes. The identification of the steel grades is aligned with that in the relevant part of ISO 2604.
