AS 2044-1977 PDF

Provides five types of enamel for the protection of steel pipes against corrosion under service conditions experienced in Australia. For the filler, limits are specified for volatile material, water-soluble material and acid-insoluble material and fineness. For the enamel, requirements are given for ash content, density, penetration softening point, adhesion and resistance to sagging and to cracking. Tests are described in appendices.
