Provides guidance on the selection of the AS 1678 emergency procedure guides (EPGs) and group text emergency procedure guides (GTEPGs) appropriate to transport of a given cargo of dangerous goods. The Standard describes the procedure for filling-in an EPG, and how to use it. An alphabetical list of all dangerous goods, indicating the relevant EPG and SI card (AS 2508 series) for each, is provided together with a list of dangerous goods sorted in order of United Nations Number. Informative appendices provide illustrations of all existing EPGs and GTEPGs, and the rationale of the groupings used in GTEPGs. The content and format of the dangerous goods lists are aligned with the fifth edition of the ADG Code, as amended in 1993.
