Set out requirements for fusion-bonded medium-density polyethylene coating and lining of pipes and fittings. Coatings are intended to provide protection against corrosion in underground or undersea installations. Linings are intended for use in pipes and fittings in wastewater and potable water pipelines. This Standard is limited to coatings for pipeline operating temperatures in the range minus 40 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius and linings in the range minus 40 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius.
