Adopts, with national modifications, IEC 60947-3:2015 (ED. 3.2) to specify requirements for switches, disconnectors, switch-disconnectors and fuse-combination units to be used in distribution circuits and motor circuits of which the rated voltage does not exceed 1000 V a.c. or 1500 V d.c.. Includes new requirements for photovoltaic (PV) d.c. applications. Reference to Part 1 is required for the application of this Standard.
