This Australian standard relates to sine bars and sine tables, excluding compound tables. Section One provides for three types of sine bar, illustrated in Fig. 1, and made in inch sizes of 4 inch, 5 inch and 10 inch and metric sizes of 100mm, 200mm and 250 mm. Section Two provides for sine tables inclinable about a single axis in inch sizes of 5 inch and 10 inch and metric sizes of 100 mm and 200 mm. These designating sizes represent the centre distances between the axes of the rollers.
