This specification applies to capillary fittings for use with copper tubes complying with AS B158, suitable for connection by capillary joints. the fittings are for use in water supply and hot water services in the sizes normally used within the range 3/8 inch to 9 inch. Fittings up to and including 2 inch size are designed for use with soft soldered or with silver brazed joints; fittings over 2 inch in size are intended only for use with silver brazed joints. This specification does not apply to fittings used in sanitary systems.
