Fillet weld shear tests are used to determine the shearing strenth of fillet welds. Two types of test are available, the choice of which shall be as specified in the application standard. The tests are - Test 4A - Longitudinal Fillet Weld Shear Test; and Test 4B - Transverse Fillet Weld Shear Test.
