This Standard deals with bushings for indoor and outdoor use suitable for service voltages from 3.3 kV to 275 kV. It applies only to bushings which can be tested separately without affecting their electrical performance. Other bushings should comply only with the requirements of the appropriate specification for their associated apparatus. This Standard does not apply to cable sealing ends, but can apply to bushings in cable boxes.
