This specification applies to fron-connected induction watthour meters, for the measurement of alternating current electrical energy of frequency 50 cycles per second. It does not apply to portable a.c. watthour reference standard meters (these are covered in AS C39, Part II), to meters fitted with maximum demand indicators, or to multirate meters.
