This part of the SAA Boiler Welding Certification Code prescribes the pre-examination qualifications and the examination required for the granting of certificates to welding supervisors engaged in the supervision of arc welding and associated processes, including gas welding of a range of materials, flame cutting ang gouging. It is intended to be applied in the welding of boilers, pressure vessels and piping constructed in accordance with AS CB1 and AS CB15, and, where appropriate, to other welded construction.
