Sets out minimum requirements for the design and construction of tanks and tank fittings, for tanks primarily for the storage of non-refrigerated milk in bulk at atmospheric pressure on farms, and which may also be used as holding tanks for refrigerated milk. The tanks may be insulated or non-insulated. A range of capacities is specified and marking requirements are given. For insulated tanks a test of holding temperature at 95 degrees Fahrenheit ambient is prescribed.
