This Handbook was prepared for Standards Australia by a consortium of design, construction and research engineers. It provides information and guidance on the use of AS 4100 and permits the lower tier analysis of less complex steel structures to be carried out with minimal design aids and a hand-held calculator. The Handbook has been endorsed by The Institution of Engineers, Australia's National Committee on Structural Engineering.
