In Section 2, some applications and the advantages of the elements and systems are described for multi-storey buildings, industrial buildings, miscellaneous buildings, bridges, tanks, bunkers, silos, pipelines, towers, masts, antennae, and crane and conveyors; this section includes 59 photographic illustrations of typical structures in Australia and other countries. A glossary of terms is included.
