The purpose of this Standard is to define a method for verifying that an implementation for the BACnet protocol provides each capability claimed in its Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement (PICS) in conformance with the BACnet standard. Standard 135.1 works in conjunction with ASHRAE Standard 135 – BACnet. This Standard provides a comprehensive set of procedures for verifying the correct implementation of each capability claimed on a BACnet PICS. System Designers and Facility Managers would benefit from this Standard.
