Standard 173 defines a practical method for verifying how a leak detector can properly detect small and very small leak flow rates of chlorofluorocarbon (CFC), hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC), hydrofluorocarbon (HFC), and perfluorocarbon (PFC) halogenated gases.
