Standard 24 prescribes methods of testing the thermal performance and liquid-side pressure drop of evaporators that operate at subcritical pressures of the evaporating refrigerant.The 2019 revision to the standard includes the following updates: Updated references- Added requirement for uncertainty analysis- Added requirement to use liquid enthalpy for calculating total refrigerant capacity.The standard also includes access to an Excel workbook to assist with uncertainty calculations.
