Federated F050 is a 5% silicon-aluminum casting alloy recommended for intricate design and thin wall castings. It produces pressure tight castings and has a high resistance to corrosion. The F050 PT grade is specially processed during manufacture to reduce the apparent solidification shrinkage with no change in the chemical specification or mechanical properties.
