ACO Eurobar EN-GJL-150C (5.1102) is a low-tensile-strength gray cast iron that is produced by the continuous casting process. It is useful in situations where very high thermal conductivity, machinability, and damping capacity are important, but where tensile strength and hardness are not the crucial properties in service. The high carbon content of this material also imparts good lubricated bearing properties.
