Meehanite SFF350 is a ferritic ductile iron with a minimum tensile strength of 350 MPa (51 ksi) and a minimum elongation of 24%, when measured on test pieces machined from separately cast samples. It is specifically designed to provide good impact properties at low temperature. This fully ferritic Meehanite grade is produced from specially selected high purity raw materials and by subjecting the castings to an extended annealing heat treatment in order to fully develop the mechanical properties.
