View Sample Alloy Digest Data Sheet (PDF)

Since 1952, Alloy Digest has been the leading reference for materials property data on metals and alloys used throughout the world. Featuring graphs, charts and tables, these sheets give facts and figures on composition or characterization, physical and mechanical properties, heat treatment, and machinability.

CARPENTER HIPERCO 50 is a magnetic soft alloy used primarily as magnetic core in electrical equipment requiring high permeability at very high magnetic flux densities. These magnetic characteristics permit weight reduction, reduction of copper turns and insulation in the end product in comparison to magnetic alloys having lower permeabilities in the same magnetic field range.
