DICKALLOY is a relatively new copper-base alloy developed to replace beryllium-copper alloys for the manufacture of electronic parts. Dickalloy is a precipitation-hardenable alloy that has the combination of high strength and ductility needed for the small electrical components that are becoming more and more popular in the electronics industry. This new alloy, in contrast to the beryllium copper alloys, costs less and causes less environmental problems. Its uses include electronic switch terminals, television remote controls and automobile telephones.
