Alloy C7025 is a second generation, high performance alloy whose strength comes from an age hardening heat treatment similar to that used for the beryllium coppers. With stress relaxation resistance comparable to Be-Cu alloys C170/C172 (see Alloy Digest Cu-615 and Cu-621) and conductivity almost double that of brass, C7025 is well suited to high-reliability connector applications.
