Wieland C23000 (C230), also known as red brass, is an 85Cu-15Zn alloy. The alloy has excellent cold forming properties and is generally not susceptible to dezincification and stress corrosion. Due to this combination of properties and its attractive color, the alloy is used for decorative purposes as well as for a wide variety of drawn and formed parts.
