METGLAS Alloy 2605SC is an amorphous iron-base, general-purpose, soft magnetic alloy with properties superior to conventional crystalline electrical steels. It offers a unique combination of high resistivity, high saturation induction and extremely low core loss; these characteristics make it suitable for use from low frequencies to very high frequencies. Its applications include transformers and other devices requiring a square-loop high-saturation material.
