View Sample Alloy Digest Data Sheet (PDF)

Since 1952, Alloy Digest has been the leading reference for materials property data on metals and alloys used throughout the world. Featuring graphs, charts and tables, these sheets give facts and figures on composition or characterization, physical and mechanical properties, heat treatment, and machinability.

METGLAS Alloy 2605CO is an amorphous iron-base soft magnetic alloy. It has the highest saturation induction of any amorphous alloy commercially available, combined with very low core loss. It is the alloy of choice when low weight is as important as efficiency. It is particularly suited to 400 Hz aerospace applications where small core size is a requirement, and to pulse applications where maximum flux swing is desired.
