Since 1952, Alloy Digest has been the leading reference for materials property data on metals and alloys used throughout the world. Featuring graphs, charts and tables, these sheets give facts and figures on composition or characterization, physical and mechanical properties, heat treatment, and machinability.

MAGNIFER 50 is a soft magnetic iron-nickel alloy containing about 48% nickel. It has a saturation induction of 1.55T and a high permeability. It exhibits the highest saturation induction obtainable with iron-nickel alloys. Typical applications are (1) Low-frequency power transducers, (2) Chokes (Coils), (3) Relay parts and (4) Integrating current transformers for Fi-protective switches.
