METCO 505 is a high-molybdenum powder designed to produce plasma flame spray coatings for use as hard bearing surfaces with low coefficient of friction and for resisting wear by abrasive grains or hard surfaces. Its coatings have excellent non-scuffing properties and are compatible with many mating materials, particularly cast iron and iron-base alloys.
