NIKROTHAL 6 is a nickel-chromium-iron electrical-resistance alloy for use in appliances and industrial furnaces. Its maximum recommended operating temperature is 1125 C (2055 F). It is highly suitable for heating elements in domestic appliances. Note: This revision was made because in the original digest of October 1980 the data in Table 2 are not for Nikrothal 6.
