HASTELLOY Alloy G-3 is a nickel-base alloy with outstanding corrosion resistance in the as-welded condition. It is an improved wrought version of HASTELLOY Alloy G. Alloy G-3 has the same excellent general corrosion resistance as Alloy G, along with improved resistance to heat-affected zone (HAZ) attack and excellent weldability. Alloy G-3 is a logical choice for many chemical applications, particularly those involving sulfuric and phosphoric acids, as well as applications where Alloy G has been used successfully.
