RA 200 is characterized by (1) Excellent resistance to many corrosive environments, (2) Good thermal and electrical conductivity and (3) A large magnetrostrictive effect. This commercially pure metals has outstanding resistance to corrosion by hot concentrated alkalies (except ammonium hydroxide).
