HAYNES ALLOY No. 214 is a nickel-base alloy with excellent oxidation resistance to 2200 F (1205 C), attributable to the tenacious and protective A1203-type film which is modified by a small but effective amount of yttrium. The alloy is also useful in carburizing service and in resisting chlorine contaminated atmospheres.
