KUBOTA KHR48N HiSi is a Ni-Cr-Fe alloy with a 5% W addition. The alloy was designed for high-temperature operating parameters of strength, good carburization resistance, and high oxidation resistance. It is a modification of KHR48N (see Alloy Digest Ni-582) adjusted in composition to maximize carburization resistance.
